My Kind of Town
On Thursday we took a Hop-on Hop-off trolley/bus tour of Chicago. Since parking is at a premium in downtown Chicago, I'd say a tour is the only way to go. I really went crazy taking pictures. Of course we had to have a stuffed pizza. Debi scored us really nice rooms at a 4-star hotel across from Grant Park, the Blackstone.

On the Road to Chicago
We left Linville this morning and headed north on our trek to Chicago. So, today was mostly a travel day with my brother driving around 420 miles. Dinner was in Shelbyville, KY at Claudia Sanders Dinner House (the former home and headquarters of Claudia and Colonel Harland Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame). We are spending the night in Scottsburg, IN - about 220 miles to go tomorrow.
