You Know What's Coming Next - Day One

My theme song - "On the Road Again." (I removed the music for now) I leave in the morning for North Carolina in search of cooler weather.

UPDATE: When I drove out of the "sunshine" state it was raining so hard I couldn't see ten feet in front of me. What a long boring ride - 560 miles later I arrived in the Mountains. What a great site seeing water in the lake (they've been working on our damn for over a year). The wine has been opened........aah!

The Perfect Baby

I had the pleasure of spending some time the last few days with little Teagan who was in town visiting her grandparents. She was accompanied by her parents Kate and Jim. Teagan is such a happy baby and a delight to be around.

All My Children

There are those who think it's "just wrong" when people humanize their pets and refer to them as their children. Well, I don't care. These are our babies, past and present.

Our current cats - brother and sister Tiger and Taffy (named after cats my parents had).

The Way We Were

Tom and I in our younger years. We developed a habit when we had company in the Poconos, to take pictures in front of the fireplace before we went out to dinner. I think these are in chronological order starting in 1983 until 1990. My scanner has now developed a problem - a green or purple line right across the middle. So, it's taking even longer to scan these pictures since I can only use the top and bottom of the screen. I guess it's time for a new scanner.

No Mother-in-Law Jokes Here......Only Tears

I couldn't ask for a better mother-in-law. Most of the time I called her "Mom" and I loved her like a Mom, but when she came to visit in Levittown, the Poconos or Florida and my mother was present, she was "Helen." You can't play cards and say "Mom it's your turn" and have two women answer. I don't think she was too thrilled about me marrying her son in the beginning (as Tom was dating another girl the family adored), but I think she was happy in the end. She died three years ago this month and I still miss her.
